Okay, so let me get this straight. I just installed RemoveWAT on my W7 Ult, which was saying I had 24 days remaining with whatever key I had before. Now that section in "my computer" properties is gone, which is all good. Can I still install Windows updates? Or should I steer clear of them while i have RemoveWAT?
I have installed this activator a week ago, but now "this copy of windows is not genuine" keeps popping up after a couple of hours after booting in windows. (mine is a macbook pro(early 2008), used loader both from you and Daz before, and now both loaders had been uninstalled) Luckily, it will disapper after each reboot. So how can I fix it? P.S. I have installed the official Windows upgrades without trouble, and my wallpaper haven't changed to black ever.
If "this copy of windows is not genuine" pops up on Desktop bottom right corner just do Properties on Computer and it will disappear. No need to restart or reboot. This is for now THE only problem that I saw with RemoveWAT. Hopefully with 2.1 version this will also get fixed but even if it does not it isn't a huge problem after all.
I have removeWAT v2.0 installed on different systems, each with a different edition, updating them and none of them has come up with this error. I don't know why you okes get it. I installed Win 7 from the untouched ISO's from Technet.
that happens if sppsvc is disabled. run this from admin cmd line to solve all: Code: sc config sppsvc start= delayed-auto & sc config sppuinotify start= Demand & net start sppsvc All should be good now
Do you think this will work on WinXP-Pro 64 Bit as well to remove the deactivation date? If not is there anything that will?
I don't think it will work this is for a Vista type activation. You can however mod the XP x64 disc with the vlk files and use a vlk key, works very well.
