Code for 2.1 is finished, just got to do the graphics The /s switch issues are fixed and so are the tampered binary problems and no more watermark and option updates will always be there
I installed RemoveWAT 1.6 ages ago... but i have had no problems so far. Should i restore it and then install this version? What difference would it make to me? Thanks
Well this is not working for me. Im getting all kinds of SPP Notification errors and lockups. Glad I tried this on a spare drive.
That's what I did and it worked. A silent switch means that there's an option to run the crack without clicking anything. For example if you have RemoveWAT.exe at your desktop you could use "Start->Run->C:\Users\User\Desktop\RemoveWAT.exe /s" this way the crack will install itself in the background. This is good if you want to embed the crack into a Windows 7 install, where you don't even want users to see the crack or interact with it. This is probably irrelevant for you.
the /s switch is designed to run with SYSTEM privvelige, so it's only really meant for $OEM$ integration
Microsoft are aware of this it seems. The question now becomes "How certain are you that a multi billion/trillion dollar company won't figure out how to stop this method from working with a simple obscure windows update patch?" I myself think they will stop this method working very quickly, with newer versions/updated discs and what not. As for deactivating peoples already "fixed" system I do not know if they will or not. I just only can hope you can keep this thing working well because i was sick of using a loader. If you must use a loader, then you can not use system encryption with truecrypt and other nice things like that. DAMN.. i need two posts before i can link you to the artical.. that sucks.
This is only to get my count to 2, so i can share this artical with you about microsoft finding this technique from THIS forum...
