If MS decides to go after RemoveWAT, you can bet they will... They could potentially disable any activation method...loaders, BIOS mods...chew... Just need to stay one step ahead...or react swiftly
Cool Hello, I'm The Time Surfer I post on ISO hunt sometimes and have enjoyed helping people with windows 7. The only activation solution I had to tell people was Daz 1.7.7 Now I can give two resources instead of one. I've tried it and it works fine. Thanks Hazar
hey thnx a lot .. a frnd of mine gave me the 7 loader 1.5 , but even though I installed it .. my win7 was still in grace period which was gonna end on monday .. then i found REMOVEWAT . which also is from Hazaar and others .. and it wrked nicely .. no activation required now .. thnx again Hazaar and nonsense
program's updates such things are optional, i have another idea, so... to check updates you just need a rss feed and blogspot[dot]com hosts that (created automatically for each post blogger makes) you can detect the difference between file updates and news based on the category of the post to host the file a hoster like rapidshare is needed... i found a service apparently doesn't delete the file if there is no abuse of bandwidth (you can whitelist a user-agent so non modified browsers won't be able to download it), it is hidemyass[dot]com PD: excuse for my bad english language level, sorry if there is some misunderstood word or phrase
We don't need autoupdate because the tool is more clean without calling some server and we are here every day,so if Hazar made a new version we can get it!
who talked about autoupdate? i talk just about update (not autoupdate) using a button the final user have to click to check for new version, of course he/she is not forced to click that button i checked fidemyass filehosting and a captcha surprised me, so it isn't valid for that purpose if Hazar agrees to this idea i'll continue searching for a solution to host the file
So guys, do I get that correctly? - I download the RemoveWat File - Then I Download the normal Windows 7 version and install it. - Afterwards I activate RemoveWAT and then there'll be no activation screen and nothing else? I haven't seen any Tutorials, so I am sorry if I was kinda blind. (of course i just ask out of curiosity)
One more question then (I'm kinda afraid if I tried that, and then blew up my system^^) The activation/registration of Windows7 takes place AFTER you install everything and is not PART of the installation? (So I would definitly know when to start RemoveWAT) And after starting RemoveWAT you'd have to name the folder W7 is installed in, so RemoveWAT knows where to got, or would all of that be automatically? (Is there are Tutorial somewhere, so people like me,who have no clue of boot system, could just look up further questions?) Thanks a lot for your help!! Oh and what actually happens to people who get caught doing that/Could they get caught at all?
lol you install w7, when it asks for a serial just leave it blank, then when youre at your desktop download and run removewat and apply it. it patches the OS youre running on.
Just a heads up (and I'm not sure how related to anything this may be). I'm running Win 7 Home Premium on a netbook. I originally attempted to activate via SLIC. The patch said it was successful, Windows did not. I then used RemoveWAT 2.1 (all this was like Thursday or Friday maybe 12/4). It worked great. Earlier tonight I got a message saying Windows wasn't geniune....but despite that it just let me install these updates: Microsoft Office Access Runtime and Data Connectivity 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) Update for the 2007 Microsoft Office System (KB967642) 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 1 (SP1) Definition Update for Microsoft Security Essentials - KB972696 (Definition 1.71.550.0) So, not sure what all that means, but I thought I'd let ya know.
Hey all, the next update 2.2 will have the follow changes: slui blocked, sppsvc set to manual new watermark patch made by me, to remove all not genuine strings. double sids - /s switch works anywhere Product ID - for server R2, so it doesn't say "Not Activated" in initial configuration tasks stop sppsvc - stops it till it is next running fix slwga - to force a genuine activation (windows actually thinks it is genuine)
