The hardware tolerance is true even if you activated via the internet and make significant hardware changes in your computer.

Unless you downloaded the Remove WAT.exe from an untrusted source then i would say its just a false positive. Hazar is someone you can trust not to be sendinng harmfull programs on the net. :D

Sonar protection in Norton 2010 also go crazy and stop RemoveWat from running. Just turn off antivirus when running RW.

But please answer my question, why my system says RemoveWAT is not a correct Win32 application?

I run it with my old XP. (ALL other loaders I run don't give a notification about "not a correct Win32 app" although I run them in XP)
    :confused::confused::confused:

To clarify........... and this is my opinion only. The Remove WAT program is an executable and also changes windows system files. To an antivirus program this will set alarm bels ringing and will most likely warn you of some kind of virus. If you downloaded Remove WAT from MDL then you should ignore the warnings from your AV program and if necessary add an exception rule. Believe me Hazar's program can be trusted. :D:D

Yes of course, I trust him anyway. But I have Hazar's old copy of RemoveWAT, which is the 2.0 version. It works fine in XP and my same AV doesn't warn me or do any action to eliminate it. Is that the changes from 2.0 to 2.1 causes my problem ?

As far as I know M$ have enhanced their anti piracy counter measures since XP so maybe this works in conjunction with Panda and causes a false positive. I reitterate, hazar will cause you know threat.......FACT.

    Panda Cloud antivirus

I got the the same thing with panda saying remove wat was a suspicious file I told it to ignore, it I have been useing remove wat for month's now and I got it from a reliable source not from torrent so I trust it compleatly It also detects antiwpa.dll as adware . Truth be known Panda is not the best AV out there its not ready after all its called beta software for a reason

Because it deleted what it thought was suspicioius and what your left with is not a valid .exe go to the garbage bin on panda and restore it and if that does not satisfy you format your drive pay for win 7 and then install panda beta BETA BETA

Hazar, congrats on joining the Chew-WGA team. I'm sure you'll be an asset to the team! The upcoming Chew-WGA version 1.0 looks very interesting. Is there any time-frame you can share on the release of version 1.0?

Good Luck & Good Coding! ;)

The error code 0xc0000135 has to do with .NET.... 2k8 r2 Core features only 3.0 and 3.5 (correct??). Removewat probably uses 1.1 or 2.0 or something. Anyone know of a way to get this to work in Core?

    OK,
I am not sure but I think I am in the files where Windows keeps its Hardware Hash. When I tickled it, Windows said that the previously genuine license needed to be activated. When I click activate, it came up with a genuine logo and said that "this copy of Windows is not genuine. I am not betting any thing this time.:p

    Hash stored in tokens.dat box.

Key stored in pkeyconfig.xrm-ms I think

Back them both up, and restore them on the same hardware = reactivated

I will 2x check but pkeyconfig is the same on every computer.
Tokens.dat stores hardware hash when the license was activated.
Transfer to another computer with similar hardware configuration and activation is OK if hardware hash is within tolerance.

I am thinking that Windows needs to compare hardware hash in the Tokens and on the physical computer.

Does Windows do this in real time or as needed and achieved the data (cache.dat)? If archieved, then where is the data?
