unistall with 2.2.1 (took a very long time)
install removewat 2.2.1 (it hung and locked me out. had to reboot)
removewat 2.2.1 (got error attached in previous post)

ran sfc/scannow and was able to use 2.2 again without issue (tested install and unistall)

    LoL

I'm sorry Hazar, I didn't get that. I'll do that next time upon another error. :(

I did just use the latest you put up (CRC F7E7B278) and it worked.

    It didn't work for me...
Even tried to restore WAT, rebooting, and re-removing it, and I can't get rid of this watermark!!!
I never used another tool, only RemoveWAT.
I think I'll just get used to this thing!
    Thanks a lot anyway!!!

Ughghgh. I wish I could tell you more beyond "it's still doing the same thing", but... It's still doing the same thing. It still hangs at the same spot and becomes completely unresponsive. Is there any way I can log it or give you some more information? Is there anything you need me to look into about my system and tell you? If there's any way I can help, please let me know!

I can provide you with a debug version via PM... Let me send it to you. It will tell you exactly what its doing at each phase...

just give me some time and I'll do that soon.

    Thanks for your help!
Unfortunatelly, it didn't work... this thing don't want to leave me!!! Haha!
Tried to run mcbuilder and reboot, no deal.
Then tried to restore wat, reboot, run mcbuilder, reboot, remove wat, reboot, and it's still there!
    Microsoft is such a pain...

I`ve tested RW2.2.1 on my pc!! No problems here. Tried to first remove, then restore and finaly remove again. No problems for me!! System runs smooote. No hang. Only issue I can see is that language packs at WU dont show up, and it shows "invalid license" at mgadiag. But it doesnt matter, it is fine anyway. (win 7 ultimate x86 nb-NO) Remember to turn of sonar protection at NIS 2010 before using removewat-tool, and turn it on again whwn WAT are removed. It kills the patch!!

    Excuse me, i don't understand...
If i use RemoveWAT i won't have to activate windows???

Anyway if i launch removewat in silent mode during windows setup, i think that the program starts explorer.exe before the system finish the execution of setupcomplete.cmd

Infact at the first startup the logged user is SYSTEM and windows is very very slow.
To fix it i nead to restart the system.o_O

    Okay, here we go.
I guess the only place to start is at the beginning.
Downloaded Orbit30's windows 7 AIO preactivated, which after a restart gave 3 days to activate. That release was promptly pulled, and replaced, unbeknownst to me.
Looked around and found this decent little app. that seemed to work like a charm.(Ver. 2.1.3) I think.
This was I think about 2 weeks ago.
Last night though, while restarting my comp, I noticed in the bottom right corner, this copy of windows is not genuine, or something to that effect.
Took a quick look, and sure enough I had 14 days to activate.
So I've been looking around some more, and found Version 2.2
So I've now used RemoveWAT 2.1.3 to uninstall itself and used Version 2.2 to do its magic.
Looks like it worked, as it did with Version 2.1.3
There is no activation notice again.
Hope it stays this time, since I've spent a lot of time getting this thing tweaked the way I want it.
I'm sure the problem comes from the preactivated release that wasn't really preactivated.
    Keeping my fingers crossed.
    Thanks again Hazar.
Should mention this is Win7 Ultimate 64 bit.

    @dukesdad

You should look 2 posts up ;)

Not saying that you installed that update but as you can see it could get defixed by WGA/WAT/windows malicious software removal tool updates, and another RemoveWAT get released once it get "defixed" so you should drop by for updates if you want to stay activated using RemoveWAT

So what you're saying is every month or so I just need to update and run RemoveWat again?
    Sounds easy enough.

Not saying that RemoveWAT gets update every month, how offen you want to check "if" there is update depends on you. Once a month , more or less, you can even come back as far as you get nags again.
