Helllo! I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and been using RemoveWAT since last December. I overwritten the older RemoveWAT 2.2 with the RemoveWAT 2.2.2. When running 2.2.2, the "Restore WAT" is greyed and I don't have the older 2.2 version anymore so, then I clicked the RemoveWAT button anyway.

Only problem is that the MGADiag 1.9.0011.0 still reports Invalid License (Validation Code: 50). Then I ran RemoveWAT 2.2.2 again to try to Restore and Remove again, but the Restore option is still greyed out. Might be a small bug?

Hope someone can help. Thanks for this awesome solution. :)

Which means that the patch was not applied coz the new dll works and MGAdiag ( 1.9.0019.0 ) reports genuine as intended.

Anyway if i launch removewat in silent mode during windows setup, i think that the program starts explorer.exe before the system finish the execution of setupcomplete.cmd

Infact at the first startup the logged user is SYSTEM and windows is very very slow.
To fix it i nead to restart the system or to restart explorer.exe

PS: i solved killing explorer by setupcomplete.cmd after cracking and before system starts.

Hey there and where is the new version downloadable ? version 2.2.1 did not work for me. the watermark still remained after a reboot and opening removewat again still gives me the opportunity to choose "remove wat". if i do so it gives me an errormessage that user32.mui.bak still exists :/ so i hope 2.2.2 works better for me if someone tells me where to download :D

€: im a douchebag and should learn reading from the beginning ;) solved :D
but one question remains, i still have the watermark telling me "the genuineness of the windows copy was not yet confirmed" well could be a little bit different in english but i have the german version so this is the translation :) but it wont go away :(

Thanks for the reply. :) I guess I need to restore the WAT. Hope the Restore WAT bug can be fixed. It's still grey. Thanks!

I have a similar experience, tho i'm using specifically > Virtual Hard Drive (VHD) Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise x64 running it off dual-boot win7 ent. all icons on the desktop disappear, with only removewat 2.2 running. Half way thru (roughly 50% of the bar) it gets stuck. Pressing the power button will shutdown the server tho. Removewat does not seem like doing anything, and i waited for more than half an hour...

    Cheers

I am working on the server issue, do not worry.

Just tesring some new anti watermark files from secr9tos

BTW, WAT shouldn't be a big problem.

    I have updated this to 2.2.3 :D

It should fix the server 2008 R2 crash, and now has no watermark issues and the watermark will not come back if you switch language (thanks secr!)

Also now contains code to "immunize" you against the WAT update ;)

This goes badly for me Hazar. I'm not sure if I patched with Daz Loader or Hazar 7 Loader, it seems so long ago now! Both are beyond me when it comes to which "is best" they're both superb as far as I'm concerned and both you guys rock. (Actually think I used Daz Loader to Patch and 7 Loader to do some OEM stuff! lol!).

Anyway, I'm Windows 7 64 Bit activated through OEM (has a 00426-OEM at the beginning?). When I used the RemoveWAT it seemed to go OK, but then I rebooted and got an error about the Windows Scheduler Helper Service not starting, followed by a cascade of other services not starting after it. I rebooted several times just to check it wasn't some kind of "windows prefetch catchup" causing the problem. Same.

When I tried to remove the RemoveWAT using the uninstall option included, I got exactly the same error messages on reboot (so it didn't reverse correctly either). In the end I had to resort to a system restore that I did before trying RemoveWAT. I was fully backed up with Acronis anyway. Still living in fear of the February M$ update though and Daz doesn't seem to have commented on his thread yet. Fingers crossed here. Good luck lads.

Hi! It works the same way the 2.2.2 version is: it stucks at near half progress bar. One of the previous version activates win2008r2 fo 10 days long (Grace Days = 10 type 5)

To be exact, only x86 apps were affected by this, native x64 programs not.
