Just one thing though, I get this after the KB update has been on a while:

    Application Log:
    Event ID: 14
    Level: Error
    Source: Windows Activation Technology Service

    Genuine validation failure:
    hr = 0x800706BA

Then a log entry one up says:

    Application Log:
    Event ID: 12
    Level: Information
    Source: Windows Activation Technology Service
    Telemetry payload uploaded successfully.

Anything to worry about? Do I actually need the Windows Activation Technology Service, the thing is set to manual run anyway, so something else must be running it.

Also, I noticed WatAdminSvc.exe was phoning home to microsoft (new request through my firewall), is it safe to block this at firewall level?

    Cheers :)

EDIT: (After applying commands listed below by Hazar)

    takeown /f %windir%\System32\Wat\WatAdminSvc.exe
    icacls %windir%\System32\Wat\WatAdminSvc.exe /deny *S-1-1-0:F

Yep, that seems to have done the trick bro, thanks a million.

ooer, that's odd. I reccomed you run these commands to disable the WAT from your system (be sure to run from admin cmd line):

    takeown /f %windir%\System32\Wat\WatAdminSvc.exe
    icacls %windir%\System32\Wat\WatAdminSvc.exe /deny *S-1-1-0:F

    About your wife, hehe

    @hazar

    Greetings ... thanks!
    Work in progress!!
    Two problems:

-1- After RW.2.2.3 uninstall (to 64 bits systems) is not well the restoration to slmgr.vbs
-2- in trial versions (server2008 r2 and w7 enterprise) exist an error to path ( folders) to run disablewlms.exe

This be resolves in 2.2.4 ?

    good luck

    @ Hazar

I havent checked this thread for a few days and only now noticed you have released a new version of WAT. What happened to the development of Chew? It's all gone quiet over there.

Is your new version of WAT ahead of Chew v0.9 or are they basically on PAR?

Well, I'm continually updating this, but I am unsure of Chew's features so I cannot say. This has a few extra things like it deals with WGA etc.

Chew 1.0 will be out soon, I recommend you check that out if you prefer the Chew approach.

Hazar, obviously I am stoopid as I cannot get your programme to run properly?
I run it and it just sits there with a green band about half way along and does nothing?
I started it as an Admin but I am for sure missing something here?
Is it supposed to take a long time? I left it for 10 mins and nothing, I brought up
the Task manage and shut it down, gives an error about cmd then reboots but nothing
    has happened. :(
    Please help? :D

That's not supposed to happen. The patching should just take some seconds...
