So wait, uninstalling the wat update normally doesn't get rid of it? I installed it and I was still genuine but decided to get rid of it just in case. So do I need the removewat22 or not? I used another one called watvaccine but I have no idea if it worked or not since the window closes so fast.

    Thanks

I've used three versions now, 2.0, 2.2, and 2.2.4. Each time I have not been able to restore WAT with the new version. I have had to restore WAT with the in-use version, then remove WAT with the new version.

I did a remake of SetupComplete.cmd in the unattend W7 and with success. The patch works but there is a minor
watermark nag, .... dissapears after a while (not genuine - in right bottom corner). Will try to combine the WAT
patch with the "Remove Watermark, V0_8, Build 20090509" The question is: Which one must be applied first?

I want to put the 2 patches in one executable sfx rar. Please tell me if there are unexpected problems doing so.

Hello everyone. First post here, I hope I won't bother you guys with worthless questions.

Anyway, back when W7 was released, I used RemoveWat 1.6 or 1.7 (can't remember which one actually, sorry). But now, with all that talk, I'm of course going to update it to 2.24.
I seem to understand that I must uninstall the previous RemoveWat before installing the new one? How can I do this? And is there any additionnal step that I should be aware of?

Thanks in advance for the help.

you should be able to restore(uninstall) WAT and then remove(install) it with the newest version

I couldn't do that so I used v2.1 to restore wat and then I used v2.24 to remove wat.

Thanks for the tip, I was actually gonna ask how to remove it since 2.24 wouldn't let me!
I'm all good now. Old removed, 2.24 installed. Thanks a lot, both of you.

If I don't use "remove wat" and I get the counterfeit notice, is it too late to do remove wat?

    hello,

I have a couple of questions before I try this.

I read an article a couple of days ago that MS plans on releasing an update that fixes the activation methods that were used before.

    My questions are;

Do I have to apply this if I activated Win7 using Windows 7 Loader v1.7.7 (REPACK) (x86 & x64)? Activator by Daz

Will this update detect this activation hack?

If yes, could I apply this RemoveWAT thing in case this update was pushed ?

I hope I'm making sense.. please reply :)

I did it, so now no more black screen on start but I am still having the "This computer is not running genuine windows" notification when I open some applications like Paint. Is there a way to remove it?
    Thank you.

I have not yet understood if the RemoveWAT disables the counting of days of trial or if it only hides it.
You should try, in the worst case you can uninstall RemoveWAT.

Please if you try tell me if it works!

Does RemoveWAT disable the countdown of the trial evalution's days or does it only hide it.

If i use this tool can i use Windows for more than 30 days or i also nead to crack the os with the 7loader?

Someone please answer my question! :(
