[OUTDATED / UNSUPPORTED] RemoveWAT

So I guess only a clean install will do? I had used windows toolkit in the past.

Maybe as of now dude but M$ will detect more activation exploits in the future with there WAT service so my advise to you would be to not install that update and if you did then I would remove it via Add/Remove Programs -> View installed updates.

Probably so it shows in your machines history of being installed and your not forced to install a different version of the update down the road.

Noob reporting, I don't know if this is the wrong thread but...

When I activated Win7 (ultimate) I didn't have to mod the BIOS as it was already SLIC 2.1 compliant, all I did to activate was install a certificate and a key (ACER, I have an acer laptop)

But yesterday I decided to install some updates, including "that" one.

My windows doesn't pass the genuine test on the website.

Should I use this RemoveWAT?

 

what do did is half correct, that key u used is okay but here is the problem ..... you should install W7 and install all the updates including KB9*****
at that point after your W7 is not genuine u should install the 225 latest version of remove wat and that should work...........

 

lol you dont have to install the WAT update just install win 7 then use removewat and then go about your bussiness

 

You are saying to clean install Windows 7 again, not use any key or certificate and instead use the latest version of RemoveWAT?

 

if your bios has slic 2.1 why use this?

I know it has 2.1 but after the update I am non genuine.
