what would happen if you install wat and then do the KB*** update would this not make your W7 not genuine???
Yes indeed it's there, although curiously it has no publisher..? I'm sure you have good motivation for doing so Hazar, but since I and others have been repeatedly telling everyone NOT to install KB971033, can you please put everyone's minds at ease with a brief explanation as to why you do this with RWAT2.2.5... appreciated. And is KB971033 active in RWAT2.2.5, or is it disabled?
PMR already explained it, but the idea is it makes sure the update is installed so it can safely disable it
To restore to a clean system in order to re-apply RWAT: 1) Right-click [run as admin] RWAT and uninstall RWAT 2) Reboot 3) Using Start Menu search, search for 'cmd' 4) Right-click on 'cmd', [run as admin] and enter command prompt 5) sfc /scannow [enter] 6) Wait til finished. Reboot 7) Next reboot W7 should start nagging you re activation 8) Right-click [run as admin] RWAT and install RWAT 9) Reboot 10) Done.
Yes, hope Super Hazar could successfully deal with Update KB971033.. Although I cannot help anything, I still support u hazar!!
Open RemoveWAT and press "RestoreWAT". After that open and elevated command prompt and type: Code: sfc /scannow . Finally apply latest RemoveWAT again. If the "error" still occurs follow Hazar's recommendation.
i used the removeWAT and the activation information really got removed from the system info but a few days after i did this i got a "windows not genuine" pope-up. what should i do?
2.1 i tried now to restore WAT but i don't see the activation information on system info (last time i did this, the activation information did re-appear..) thanks.
thanks, i see now activation information.. but still i got the genuine problem. got 19 days left to activate
