its missing platform stuff from rom.. when you dload a rom it has extra details where to place the data hence when you try to use a USB programmer with a dloaded file it has extra data that has to be removed to flash with programmer... the dump doesnt have that. per manual: To flash a new BIOS, you need a BIOS file with the new BIOS image (e.g., BIOS.WPH). The BIOS file, usually named BIOS.WPH, contains not only the new BIOS binary to flash, but also the data required to write the BIOS to the particular flash device on your system. which model ? CF-52CCABXBM or CF-52AJCBDBM try using winphlash to make backup in advanced and try that one.

I GOT IT ^^. And so easy THe original BIOSUP.BAT is: BU52M1L.EXE V154L25.521 %1 %2 %3 i change to: BU52M1L.EXE -d V154L25.521 %1 %2 %3 i found this "-d" on a readme from an other Toughbook (cf-28) Bios Update. This is from the readme: "With "-d" option, this utility doesn't check the existence of both AC Adaptor and battery, and adjusting date and time in BIOS setup is not required. " But it also ignore CRC. With "-d" he said CRC is wrong but it ask me if i flash also. So i could Update the Bios and all is fine now
