OK, Paul, I re-downloaded each .torrent file, stopped each torrent, replaced ISO, and force re-checked them. 2 of the list, korean x86 and the sv_ent_n_x64 one did not match so I've re-queued them up. The remaining did match the torrent files, but did not match msdn. Here is my sha1 listing: Code: c03038dfed5a8c55e7600398685d0eacdaae0952 cn_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051473.iso e5f001ad67678ae1be26e5316826a534fdc07cef cn_windows_8.1_with_update_x86_dvd_6051523.iso 117e2049a519ede15bb40a6cb3d57470f6dfc785 cs_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051477.iso aed6cef913678b5b136cf5c44a720b1cd2a1638d da_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051478.iso 96a733115169550199fc18c9c8bfe68a6fcd6a4d et_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051482.iso 40b8ecbb7327e10f397c7ae2bffd6f5f49fbbc27 fi_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051483.iso c105be8aaffedfb96928b32f7fd5b13c1c02e772 lt_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051493.iso cddd45b05210f6f5d1f932df1c65b9623b229dff pp_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051497.iso cd1d25d14272ea74544d7d96d6b36a7bd329a748 sk_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051501.iso Sometimes a .torrent creation can create a false set of hash chunks. This usually happens when the file system is overloaded. Whenever I personally create a .torrent file I make sure to stop all torrents, wait a few seconds and then start the creation. If you want to make some new .torrents I can re-check the files against them. This way you can make sure the creation process is good and it's not a hash issue with the file on the server. You can PM me with magnets if you want me to test them. If not, no worries. Have a good x-mas
I replaced files in question with new ones just to see where the bug was. Only iso which I didn't work on is the "Korean x86" ??? Please advise
korean x86 multi and sv_ent_n_x64 worked fine and matched msdn. I had downloaded korean from another site. (my bad on that) On the sv_ent_n_x64, well that was probably just a problem with the special peer to peer thing we used. TY PD! EDIT: you have to re-create the magnet link/torrent file. It's the ".torrent" that is faulty, not the iso.
It gives you the same magnet? Guess what? I downloaded file from baidu, verified hash on MSDN and re-checked against your torrent. It passed. So we have a new situation here, where a file with a knowingly bad hash passes the torrent check. Only thing I can suggest to people with this problem, re-download it I'm sorry Paul, I've been torrenting a long time and this is the very first time I've ever seen this happen. I've never seen a torrent pass a re-check and fail a hash check before.
PD can you check and see if this one is running? Code: File Name: et_windows_8.1_with_update_x86_dvd_6051565.iso Languages: Estonian SHA1: 7EAC744280611049026D259B0185B8664945C602 GS and I have had it queued since you loaded it and it doesn't seem to budge.
1. Are these including November 2014 update rollup? Are these the same as Windows 8.1 with Update (multiple editions) (November 2014 Update Rollup) that are on MSDN, just in VL? 2. If I already downloaded the Core/Pro (Windows 8.1 with Update (multiple editions) (November 2014 Update Rollup)) ISO's, and I use MTK to convert to VL, is that the same as the VL links you provided above (in quote)?
Jukebox does not have latest VL versions since I have no VL contract with MS. Converting retail version to VL gives you almost same result like the original VL iso. VL is available in pro only, retail also ships with core (multi). To my knowledge VL versions do not have some media stuff on board
Thank you very much for quick reply. Can MTK activate any of the non-VL ISO's as-is (without converting to VL)?
Yes, but you have to click ez-activator option so it will install the generic volume licensing key (gVLK) aka KMS key.
You are correct Paul. VL is devoid of WMC, etc. Besides, there are much better options for media, than what MS provides.
