thats what you would think lol but your wrong. its stored in a file that sppsvc protects. maybe thats why its called software protection?
so am i correct i use this, then reinstall then restore and i will not have to reactivate again for my retail based technet keys? if so VERY nice
yes thats true i had to do it twice in the last two days oh well lol stupid overclocking messed up a driver install....
VERY AWESOME. this way i dont have to keep images of every system like i have been. i have been keeping a fresh image of each of like 15 systems in case i had to go back. thank you!!
If this is all this does, make a copy of those two files, then why wouldn't we be able to manually copy and replace them? THANKS
@PayMyRent have you found some workaround for backing the license up for Enterprise Eval? If not do you know where I can a copy of Enterprise that I can backup the license to?
added AutoRestore to second post. read the readme.txt file if you download its used to restore your files from a dvd when you clean install
yea no problem people wanted something to do that so i said why not next is 2.3 with vista support im still working on that. i havent made much progress tho. ive been lazy
well i decided to post it anyways here is the newer version of my app. i am recoding it in C# i just want to know if someone with vista could try it out. usage info is with the zip file. this is not final just a test. EDIT: removed link
i do not like virtual machines. to me its not the same. i would rather have it tested on a real pc but thats just me. i was actually thinking about getting my old 80gb hdd and installing vista on it just to test.
2.3 will work with vista so now all the vista people that asked with be able to use token restore when its done
will this work if i have windows xp legit and i want to back up and when if ever happen to lost my cd or get damage i could just install it with a similar xp cd and then restore the file that i had back up ????
