so if i have a legit version install on my comp of either windows and if i have lost the original cd/dvd i can use this to keep the activations files and i can restore them later. and install either version of windows with a diff dvd/cd and i can restore the activation file is this correct???
Only if the editions are the same. If make a backup for Home Premium you can use the backup only on a home premium.
Thanks a lot PAYMYRENT for such a nice tool... +1 reps EDIT:"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to PAYMYRENT again." Admins there is something wrong with rep system... Could not even gave a single one since last day...
Will the program restore the default permissions to the files when they are replaced, will TrustedInstaller be back? THANKS
Thanks for this Paymyrent, iv got a legit version of win 7 ultimate x86 could i use the 32 bit tokens dat files to activate win 7 ultimate 64 bit on the same system ? forgive me if this has been asked before !
i really dont think it will work but you can try it out if you want too... sorry ive just been busy like brainsuck said i moved lol
anyone want to try out the new one? right now it only allows the backup of office 2010 files, no restore at all for anything.
You were able to get one that backs up office 2010? I have tried that for ever but it would not work. Yea, I would love to try it for you. I activated office 2010 with the same method as Brainsuck lol
yea i heard about that lol and yes it makes a backup of the files on my pc i just want to know if it works for others. ill pm you a link real fast
No whats even funnier is that MS uses the same activation scheme with office 2010 as it uses with Windows so thats the best part.... Isn't there a saying around this you don't keep all your eggs in one basket cause if you fail your screwed. Pretty much if you break the office 2010 system the windows system is gonna fail as well which is pretty much what I discovered about a month ago...
