yes is a older system but u should be able to install it......if u keep having issues run a system check on the motherboard and memory make sure that all checks out..... also try this trick remove the battery from the motherboard wait about 30 minutes and put back in and try to install the OS again.....i seen weird issues go away sometimes when u do this.
Can you edit the title of this topic so others don't waste time hunting for a build that doesn't exist?
Confirmed this works - Thanx for the tip. Tried all sorts of BIOS , H/W , driver acrobatics prior to no avail.
If you have to upgrade just launch the setup from the desktop, non need to complicate your life making the install media.
Also: the first step after downloading an .ESD or .ISO is to compare the checksum of that download with the give checksum from Microsoft! I wouldn't even try an install without to compare the Checksum!!
The build that I have came directly from the Windows Insider site. I didn''t verify the checksum for that reason. Should I have?
1. For second time, pls chek free space on system disk?! 2. Use to test Code: download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F22D5FDB-59CD-4275-8C95-1BE17BF70B21/WindowsUpdateDiagnostic.diagcab
so much thx for this man.. that was the exact problem i had too while i tryed to install all versions higher than 10122... fixed now thanks again man
You're not alone on this. I have the same problem, my was with USB Boot and with the same result. But when I try to install it on another PC which I have, it works just fine. Even when I tried installing it within windows. I have this problem with the same build en_windows 10 pro 10130_x64
@DJxSpeedy Hey no problem glad I could help. It's an option in the BIOS I hardly know about and it was set to disable by default for me. I wish I had known about it days ago before I pulled all my SATA cables and drives. Doh!!
He ask for How to Clean install. not how to upgrade. but yes it might be confusing or complicated. altho most techies can do it...
The underlying question that has not been answered is why is this a problem with 130 and nothing before it (or possibly nothing after it as well).
