i trust u! but windows still say me invalid product key :S i will reflash and try again but i don't know what could be happening :S
Wow! It's gonna be impossible to delete all partitions. I have 3 partitions, main for win7 and 2 more with more than 400 gygabytes of data. I'll try removing only the main partition and disabling the others (i've two adictional hard disks) hard disks.
Delete the one where windows 7 has been installed and used the loader. After that follow the steps again (certificate + key) and it should work.
Ok, this confuses me a little but now I think I have done it the wrong way myself. In my SLP dir there was Dell System.txt and Dell.txt, both containing the same letters inside namely: Dell System. People told me to use the Dell.txt as Dell System.txt was wrong. I could not understand this, but I trusted them so I did. Even though it for me looked like same side of the coin. I have so far only Vista 64 installed, and that works. But you mean i need to re-flash my BIOS and change the text inside to 'Dell Computer' then instead? Just to be 110% clear for myself as well
I changed it for people to be sure if it worked and they confirmed it. Dell.txt -> Dell Computer The dell.txt you talk about is in the tools and use system.
Ok, thank you. I will change it for when I install Win7 then. But 'Dell System' activated Vista Ultimate SP1 64-bit though.
Michael, i'm no lucky! I've reinstalled twice, deleted some partitions, used some win7 loader uninstaller , ..... Product key not valid stil appears! .
