Do you know that you already have SLIC 2.1 in your bios. The SLIC is TOSCPLTOSCPL00.BIN 2.1

You may not need modification...but don't start jumping for joy yet...let me figure it out and it won't be until tomorrow...I'm off to bed...I have to figure out if this SLIC is active or not...

    How new is your machine?

If you are looking at your bios that is presently on your machine then yes, you probably have SLIC 2.0 but your new bios update definitely has SLIC 2.1

Why don't you flash your bios with this new version and installl the certificate and see if it activates....I am sure it will

    Same :(
When using Phlash 16 Version 1.3 Build 51, it will show "Platform Signature Not Found in the interface."
For Phlash 16 Version 1.7.0.0 it will show "Invalid FlashInt.Bin!"
The only working way to flash is the original bios with the original flash utility.
Did I do anything incorrect or Did I missed anything?
What I needs to do is USB boot up to DOS and then run phflash.
    - phlash bios.rom; phlash bios.rom /x /s /c ; phlash bios.rom /o /Force /x /c /s and phlash bios / x

Hi I wondered if you could help with this Bios
-Motherboard Manufacturer and Model: Acer Aspire 5535
    -Bios Revision: 1.04
    -Bios Type: Phoenix
-Bios SLIC : 2.0 at this time, I want to have 2.1 Dell
    -Bios Link: see attached file

Hi sorry for the delay took me a while to figure out how to dump the rom file.
    I hope this is correct.

    Yours Terry.

@Busykid508: Is it possible to get this "Phoenix Mod Tool", that you use for Phoenix BIOS mods, anywhere on the net?

I would be very curious to seize the opportunity playing around with this tool...

    Thanks in advance!

    -Cheers
