    you use the usb boot, and set boot usb in bios

    I am sorry but I am confused:dontgetit: The files won't fit on 1.44 floppy. I am uncertain on how to proceed. I would prefer to boot to dos with floppy then insert the floppy with bios mod. command FLASH.BAT. is this possible. Sorry for my confusion. Thanks for your time, effort, and patience. :rolleyes:

    Thanks for your quick reply. :biggrin: The FreeDOS1.44.exe creates a floppy with only the only the FLASH.BAT file and the KERNEL.SYS file. The other files from your download link are the FreeDOS1.44.IMA which is 1,440KB and the FILES.rar file which is 95KB. I checked the MD5 and I recieved everything you sent. So I still have no Joy hereo_O not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please help me understand my mistake. Thanks for your time and effort with this:confused::biggrin:

    Tyan i5000XT s2696 SLIC 2.1 Request

    -Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : Tyan i5000XT (s2696)
    -Bios Revision : currentl bios is s2696_v1.04, but s2696_v1.05 is available
    -Bios Type : Phoenix
    -Bios SLIC : there isn't one in the current bios - request 2.1 for windows7
    -Rw-everything report link : File attached to request

    I checked under Ubuntu soft and hard block both say no (off).

    Win driver is the newest 14.2.0.10, so it should be good.

    Any topic you can point me toward where I can get help with this issue?

    The "secret" is in the flash command
    phlash16 /x /s /c /mode=3 /BBL 104_SLIC.wph works
    phlash16 biosslic.wph /o /Force /x /c /s not works
