    How do I NOP out the two JNZ instructions in the module? Sorry, if I'm asking stupid questions. I'm very new to this.

    Yes, I did flash the original 1.80 BIOS.

    I tried flashing using the flash utility from that folder (like you described) and this is what I'm getting:

    Worked! Activated Windows! Thank you so much. :biggrin: One last question. Can you direct me somewhere where I can learn some more about how to NOP out the two JNZ instructions in the module and so on? I would like to learn about disassembly.

    i think its the Vaio controls (hotkeys function) is expecting a specific card but not a whitelist. try tape on pin 20

    How do i use the BIOS version you gave?

    I just want to activate this s**t notebook, using it as deactivated for almost year now

    Just installed fresh copy of Win 7 x32 ultimate
