    I believe something went wrong with the flash, although I should've used DOS instead. I managed to recover the bios after 6 hours of researching and following essentially method 1 in link. It's detailed in here: http // forums dot mydigitallife dot info/threads/870-Bios-Recovery-Procedures/page103?p=535440&posted=1#post535440

    Since I'm doing this for a friend, I'm not going to tempt my luck again. It'll have Vista Ultimate instead. Thank you for the help however.
