Yea I did that, it's writing to the right area. Either way, the laptop still won't even attempt to power on If I can figure out that mystery, I can find a proper working Crisis disc. Ahh I wanna cry

Thanks for the reply Serg008, Tito told me what the file was for but I just wanted to know from yourself if it was okay to do the update. If you hadn't told me about reflashing the original first again, I would have just flashed the second slic'ed bios. Thanks for your help. I will do the KBC/EC firmware, Then flash the original 1.07, then the second 1.07 bios you did for me. Thanks for your help, I will post the relevant details you requested after It's done. sadsack -------------- update 1 KBC installed fine, ran wprime to see if anything untoward might happen, no problems occurred. (KBC was very quick to update about 2 seconds). I will now flash back to the original 1.07. ------------------- update 2 Reflashed back to original 1.07 .... ran wprime as a basic stress test everything okay. will now flash 2nd mod. -------------------- update 3 Reflashed with Mod2, ran wprime all okay. I will post rweverything and slictoolkit screenshots shortly.
