Just flash this one - I want to add some DMI data to the bios for WinXP OEM offline activation (as you requested)

    what BIOS.WPH ?
As I wrote you should copy all files from VarX folder to bootable USB, boot from USB and run flash.bat file.

Folders Var1-Var4 include the 3 files: flash.bat, 9D05SLIC.WPH and PHLASH16.EXE (command file, modified bios, flash utility).
When you run flash.bat the next command will start:
    Code:
    phlash16.exe /x /s 9D05SLIC.WPH
where you see BIOS.WPH here ?

I got the floppy disc drive. I can't get it to do anything. Power light comes on, but nothing else. Does this mean my BIOS chip is fried? It won't turn on, no lights.

You do not give any remarks or links. It is difficult to understand how to help you.
Give a link to the original firmware file of your laptop, and a link to a fatal file.

So, when you use the utilities from Var2-4 the BIOS flashed successfully without any errors?
Are there any changes in the RWE report after flashing a modified BIOS? Can you provide RWE report for modified bios ?
