I have a ThinkPad T500 and original Bios v.2.07. Tell me please, if you can do over the original flash bios with SLIC 2.1 LENOVOTP-6F. Thank you very much!

Right. I started from scratch. I just wanted to get a base line of sorts to see where we have been. apparently this did not do anything...I will look at his later and offer some more info. I would suggest to also put this in Yens sight to see if he has had any experience with Medion.

Stay tuned, but it will be later today before I can get you anything.

Ok...last couple days I learned to be patient. How can I contact Yen? In this thread or is there another one?

Lol...you better be very patient when it comes to contacting Yen...you forget that all the mods here are here voluntarily and they do not get paid one dime for what they do...what we do is out of desire and hearts and so, yes, I advise you to be patient.

I didn't mean to be offending or anything busy. I really appreciate your work even though we haven't had a success yet. If I'd be able to do stuff like this I'd be glad to help. What I meant by I learned to be patient ... is that we couldn't get it working. In fact, I noticed that you spend lots of time in this forum and help others. Unfortuantly, I have to be very patient to finally write YES it worked. That's what I meant no offense to you or any modders here.

To make that any clearer ... thanks for all your support so far and I just hope that you guys can mod that darn thing the right way.

Especially thanks to you busy :)

There is always a way. I just need the time. I will look later today. I am about to be busy for a few tense hours...

Check back later, I will see if I can change the strings to allow activation. I will see it today and let you know..

I need a link to the original bios download..

That is because you used an activator, it is likely now a RC version...SLIC + Activator = bad juju....

Is ther a working mod for this laptop. Or once I flashed the bios I did a clean install and unchecked the box for activate windows online ran full install then checked and it said 30 days to activate. Is there another step I need to do? Or is the bios mod just not working right. Thanks

Try renaming the file to bios.rom and see if that helps...the file name may be too long.

I know it's not you, but the unmodified version does not ask for a password when I flash it, but the modified version did. Could it be some form of protection? Just curious here, not accusing you of anything :D

Maybe, but there is no way I could, if I wanted, to put a password on your bios....I think what happened, is BenQ has this hidden code which automatically comes into play once you mess with their bios
