    Do you still have a copy of the SLIC 2.1 modded Vaio SZ780N BIOS? I am looking for a copy. Appreciate if you still have it and can share.

    @ mikesch261, did you check with Slic Dump Toolkit to see if slic 2.1 has been added ?

    It flashed properly with no issue then when restarted it no longer boots up... I opened the MOD folder, ran showmsg1 and it opened the flash thing it all went by nicely ... just can't boot :(

    Great now I have to go spend 30 bucks on a floppy drive and chance the fact it might not work so I'll be out 30 bucks and a laptop....

    Hi Ipmark,

    Thanks for helping. So this is with Sony SLIC 2.1 and Sony SLP, right? Anybody tested this before on compatible SZ?

    BTW, I have the SZ770N, but I think 780N and 770N uses the same BIOS.
