Before I even started, I updated to the latest BIOS from HP with the EXE file they have on their site. That runs through Windows. When I got the mod from you, I put the files on my USB boot stick and did it through DOS. It has given me an error with every file so far. I briefly looked at the link posted by conghoaxa1. In my BIOS, it does say Vista and not non-vista (which I think it needs to say). If I can get a Dell slic working, that would be best, but if I can only do the HP slic, I just need to know how to do the extra steps to get it to say activated. I've only done Dell slics because I have a Dell Win 7 disc. I appreciate all your help with this.
So, the modified bios has not been flashed ? (This mod has been confirmed year ago) Try to flash from Windows the mod posted by Tito (it's TTAV134's mod) \to activate with HP2.1 slic just install HP 2.1 cert.\
Do I understand it correctly that the official bios is already Slic 2.1? If so, should I use TOSQCI00-TOSQCI-2.1.XRM-MS as certificate? Thanks!
Thanks for your effort. But previously this type of bioses were modded by Serg008 using Module custom settings. Also the lappy isn't mine, so the user refuses to take any risk. Are you sure about this method??
