    i did but no luck it boots fine with a cd in.but not a flash drive

    Have you prepared your flash drive for installing OSX?? Then time for messing with your chosen bootloader. Don't rely on OSX distros.

    yup i created my flash drive using unibest from my friend's macbook.. only problem is my laptop.. doesnt boot it up..o_O...BTW thanks for your instant replies didn't think someone would reply so fast:D

    i've tried everything.. clover,chameleon,and even tried restoring the flash drive with disk utility and using clover.. no luck:confused::confused:

    AFAIK, you have to choose Boot devices > Boot from EFI file > choose your Clover bootloader partition > EFI > Boot > BOOTX64.efi :eek:

    AFAIK you have to install clover to the usb flash storage device.. when you boot it up it boots up in the clover bootloader where you can select from which drive you want to boot... i guess this is right but i maybe totally wrong:eek:
