    I've been trying to insert FSC SLIC into Amilo Si 1520 bios for W7 (just for fun, old machine that normally runs Mint), but unsuccessfully. No matter what I try there's always old 2.0 SLIC present. RW-report should be OK, taken from default 1.20 bios.

    Error given by Mod tool is "Pubkey in hole2.rom does not match the certificate (x1)

    SLIC toolkit gives error for certificate and shows default version 2.0 SLIC



    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not possible to

    Typical, searched forum before posting and found only dead links...:p

    Would be nice to know what gives with this one, been modding bioses few times before, Award, Ami, Intel and UEFI and always got the job done without problems.

    Thank you for the help, saved a day.
