    This is odd, as the only thing changed was a text string. and the mod was done with the tool. no manual mod.

    I wish you luck with the restore, I will inquire with YEN as to the reason for this failure...

    Q: you say "again"; has this SLIC quest bricked the computer before. Which mod was it???

    Which one? That is a fresh download from HP. I run it through the tool, but I doubt it is that consistent..
