Excellent, thanks! It worked. DCCU is new to me, I'll put that on my list to read up on. For others who have to flash this BIOS mod, you run the file and you have no onscreen information, just wait for it to reboot. Mine took about 1-2minutes on a 1.6GHz Pentium Dual-core model of Dell Optiplex 745. The Dell POST screen will show that it is attempting a bios update and then within seconds it will show successful. This bios shows as SLIC Bin - DELLbMk_V2.1 in SLIC Toolkit.
The one I have up loaded is original updated BIOS. A few years back you had provided the modified bios and it was installed, but only the laptop was with with windows XP OS. The OS got corrupted and I have upgraded to Windows 7 The OS is validated as OEM. . Due to graphic driver problem a blue screen appeared. Then I had upgraded the BIOS and and OS validation gone. When I checked the slick, it was not there. I tried to inject the Slick. Due to wrong PW report The tool was giving error. I found the mistake and the report was changed and every thing went well and the BIOS is upgraded with the BIOS slic injected. Automatically The OS got validated. Thank you for your help and guidance.
