Sorry for the newbie question, but: This talk about activation is not going to mess with those of us who have already activated without any patch or such, right? In other words, copies of the OS which has already been activated is not affected by a mod flash, right? And, if I do have to re-install the OS, and have a product key I bought at retail, I'm not going to have any problem activating, right? Just making sure I get all my ducks in a row before I start fixing stuff that's not really broken Thanks! J
Anytime you flash your bios with new updated version - whether that version is modified or not modified - you will have to re-activate windows. If you have a legitimate copy of windows then activate as a legitimate copy of windows again.
Busykid508, I am compelled to go to sleep, as tomorrow (already today) my daughter the first time goes to school if you find the decision of my problem write in a theme, I will necessarily read tomorrow. Many thanks for your attention.
Forgive me but unless you reference to what you are talking about, I have no clue...sorry, but I am tending to 3 different boards of this forum and I don't remember what we both did. Nevermind, I just saw....and I just remodified a bios for you and never heard anything back from you.
