This conversation is between two computer gurus who are speaking compute language between each other over your case....so, don't worry about it...lol...
Busykid was correct. Sorry to confuse or scare you..but it is what it is.. It kinda means...at this point, how bad do you need a mod, and can you recover in case of frozen bios. We have found the same anomaly, and kinda think it relevant, but have great reservations about changing it..'cause we care!! We will be in touch...The string is sort of unique..do you want to try??????
what do you mean as far as recover? like if the mod doesnt work revert back to the orignal bios? i have the orignal bios from the company website. as long as i would be able to reboot id imagaine i would be able to flash it back. i dont really know you guys would for sure have a better idea of this than me. maybe i dont understand what your asking? i would like to try as long as if it didnt work i could still revert back to the original and just run with the xp.
In the case of "brick", you may have trouble recovering. This is our worry. This string may be the one keeping you from activating, it is the only one in the bios. It may also brick the bios by changing it..Like we said...we both "smell brick".. Think it over. The other option is loader. I want to be sure you know the circumstances and what is at stake. If the bios bricks, you may end up sending it away. I would imagine the bios chip is welded to the board.. I will abide by your wishes...there is substantial risk to changing the byte sequence..
Those tables are extremely important and tell us where the errors might be, if any....and they tell us about the RSDT tables which are important... So, yes, we actually demand them.
