Thanks for the answer. I don't like to play 'games' right now because I had 2 MB's (Asus K8V-X and Asrock K7S8X) down while using the modded BIOS's from MDL! The later (K7S8X) I was warned before but not for the K8V-X. For the Laptop is a different game! I don't like to get them spoiled as well! So better I wait for an "EXPERT" Thanks again for your answer and offer.
to clarify: doing these mods involves making the BIOSCODEn.ROM module that contains SLIC header , RSDT and optionally XSDT tables compress to the size it had originally , after you've made changes to it. there's not much room to play, but the creator ID can be modified to this end it doesn't affect activation
unzip the original flash tool exe to c:\temp\medion delete the m203admp.rom, place my biosmod.rom in the directory and rename it to m203admp.rom. then use f.bat from dos (i guess you need a boot floppy/usb drive/cd) like you would do with the original bios flash! look at medion site for more info
please help me Hello to all can someone tell how can i flash my toshiba sattelite a200-1j3 from dos what tool and commands it is phoenix bios Thanks in advance
Finally updated the bios link in post #43 I am patient so I will wait for the expert modders to take a look at their earliest convenience. THANKS!!
I can't seem to use the BIOS file. I changed my serial number to the OEM key included in the Certificate file to test if it would work. After, I flashed with the BIOS file that contains the SLIC2.1 table that would activate Vista as well as Win7. When the computer started up, my Windows was not activated. I checked ACPI/SLIC table using RW, but my SLIC table does not contain anything. There's an SLIC tab but it did not contain anything. Out of curiosity, I used the F.30 that Yen? modded with SLIC 2.0. When I started my computer, Windows was activated. I checked my ACPI table and there were 2 SLIC tabs. One with the empty entry and the other that contained SLIC 2.0 information. (yes, confirmed 2.0, it's 00 00 00 00 00 after that WINDOWS string, 2.1 has something like 20 00 01 00 in it) Any inputs/help?
OK but i dont have Medion Support CD!! Anyone can upload this CD or a link for download please even I can't flash my bios! THANK YOU
