Phoenix bios SLIC mod requests (*.WPH or *.ROM files).

    also tried to rename one of the wph files to bios.wph, and then run the other winflash BATCH file, it started and then said something about not being able to load PHLASHNT driver or something like that and to check admin rights 9 i am logged in as admin in the admin acount....

    It doesnt matter how you are logged in..You have to right click on the installer, and run as administrator..this is the way. Logging on as admin gets you logged in as admin...No big deal.....

    Run as admin by right click and run as administrator...

    Do I need to try an official update first or can I just flash the bios with your provided Bios?
    Do you know where I can find a Flash how-to for Toshiba?

    and when i try riunning the winflash from extracted folder it needs to know the bios.wph and i am not sure which of the 2 filenames i should rename 309B0F54 / 309B1F54

    i think it might be the 1 not 0 file, that is the one someone told me to run in orginal bios update from hp but i dunno if its true, no idea what the dif is.

    You have a ton of trouble with that computer...:D
    Apparently the drivers are not compatible with Windows 7..you will have to flash from another OS perhaps, since you cannot flash from dos..

    I do not know the difference either...

    oh yeh remember how i told you that mouse and headphones were recognized by the usb, not anymore

    I think you should install XP, whether dual or otherwise, flash your bios, then sort it out..The usb stuff is likely not a bios problem...

    How old is this machine????

    EDIT: I even run this phlasher on VMWare, and it ran to the bios detection......I had no driver errors..You got trouble dude!!!

    2 years its amd turion 64 ml-34 2ghz 1.256 mb ram not bad 128mb ded. gfx +128 more shared

    Are you running 32 bit..64 bit will not run the flasher...

    That is likely the flash problem..Maybe some of the hardware issues...

    Try 32 bit and lets see....
