You can use the .bat file...nothing is wrong with it but i would edit the bbl switch if any is there....never flash the bootlock for you loose your previous bios and if a bad flash occurs you cannot recover without the bootlock.... So, right clixck on BIOS.BAT and choose EDIT and see if there is a switch for bbl and if there is, delete it
There is just writen on it : phlash16 /x /s /c /mode=3 /b:BL50360A.WPH to execute automaticaly the flash command line process. Also you didnt answer my previous question.. do i have to simply and basically COPY AND PASTE the PHLASH16.EXE and BL50360A.WPH (of the modified bios sure..) or what?
Follow the instructions of what is in the HOW TO MAKE A BOOTABLE USB FLASH DRIVE folder. If you look through the material that I gave to you, most questions are answered.
Used the pen drive to recover. I'm very happy as well as It's not my machine I just flashed the modded BIOS again with no problems only this time I used a different USB drive. Just starting the Windows 7 install now and will report back my findings. I owe you one.
May I ask whose machine it is? I am happy for you too....let me know ASAP if you can activate Windows 7...
is there any chance that you might have a solution for me thanks can you please try it with a dell slic i seem to have more of luck with that
I don't know how to say this but that LOADER is the biggest mistake that can be made....why did you use a loader. When you use a loader, it changes the RTM files into an RC version....and it screws up activation through the legal way of slmgr.vbs -ilc hp.xrm-ms Never use a loader on a Modified bios machine
Thanks for the info, I was not aware of that before. So anyway, I did another clean install with no 7loader this time. Installed the certificate and key from an elevated command prompt and still showing 30 days left to activate. Any ideas?
