So I can't just flash the modded bios your made for Mabs into my notebook?
I am also writing to Sager to see whether they can provide me the newest bios.

    Thanks for helping me out.

If you have a eeprom programmer, you can flash the bios to the board. The problem is the platform data is at the end of a bios update, does not get flashed to the board. It is not there to back up..

The flasher programs have no idea what to do with the bios backup. If you mod a backup, you can program it to the board with eeprom programer...

    in short...
everything to modify is there..it is no problem modifying a backup..

the part to tell the flasher what to flash is missing. It was not in the EEprom to be backed up..
