I just wanted to report that I successfully flashed my Acer Aspire One AO751h using the modded 3208 firmware from 911medic. SLIC 2.1 was present even after a reboot of the PC. I flashed from Vista Home Basic 32-bit using WinPhlash running it as administrator. Thank you to 911medic, Busykid508, nik_book, and Allo for all of their help! Mike Belsky
911medic, How does the certificate installer bundled with the modded bios work? Does it always install same cert? Does it detect Manufacturer and install correct cert? Do I run it from Windows 7 after install? Does it work when added to post install install folder (forgot exactly what its called, lets u run programs or scripts after a windows 7 install by modifying the install media)? Thanks
Run as administrator and follow the directions. It installs the cert and serial you pick.. It is not for unattended install. Auto and unattended are VERY different things. It will run the scripts for you, just follow the directions..
How doesnt it work?? A little more info. Maybe even one of those slic dump pics is better than nothing. RWE is better for me..
