    Phew. After a long time (CrisDisk doesnt work under 64-Bit so I had to setup a new machinbe with XP) I managed to recover my Laptop.

    So, why did your modded BIOS not work - any ideas ? Before I do more stupid things with my BIOS could you please check if there could be any problem in the modded BIOS you gave me ? Would be very nice. ANd if you need anything just let me know.

    I re-tried flashing your modified BIOS - no way, it doesn't work.

    Thanks you are the man! That was quick work, did you just change the bios or have you got every oem version? if you have i wouldn't say no to the sony version just to keep it "original".... or am i pushing my luck here?
