    None at all. Really, i'm perplexed. Never had a clue. Could it be that it actually IS a Asus mobo ? i for one haven't got a clue...

    Flash your bios with the mod that I made and let's see if that will first change the bios ASUS slic and second, activate windows for you.

    Sorry, didnt get any message. According to my purchase invoice, the notebook model is "Starlet". Also, as per windows system information, the system manufacturer is QCI. Since everybody runs Everest, I too downloaded a trial edition. It says "QCI EF6". Hope that helps...am not too knowledgeable.
