    Call Sony and ask for tech support and have them send you the original bios file.

    And no, we cannot use a backup of a Phoenix Bios...it won't flash because you cannot backup the elements of the flash portion of the bios.

    Hi BusyKid,

    I have found already an modified SLIC - Bios (for FSC Lifebook E8310) in this forum. If I try to flash it with PH161700.EXE (i boot DOS from an usb-stick) with the parameters you post there appears an error message: "invalid FlashInt.BIN". Then I have tried to flash with PHLASH.EXE (like the other user) and it works but if I run the SLIC Dump ToolKit the status is: "Dump OK! (But SLIC OEM ID or Digital Signature Error!)"

    Can you help me, please?
