No, that is not true...it is harder to flash the bios but we have a high success rate with modifying it and getting it flashed.
It's very strange, on manufacturer sites around the world, they call it phoenix bios. Where is mistake?
This is your bios DISK_1.IDX. It cannot be opened by any tools that are available....even Yen and 911medic who are experts on bios tell me that this cannot be modified....this was the beginning of what has become INSYDE Bios.....which is a form of Phoenix but nothing like a regular Phoenix bios.
You cannot put a slic in it unless there is an existing slic....it is impossible to do so with a Dell Phoenix Bios.
