    Your bios will not accept acer for the compression ratio on it is small and we had to use a slic that did not take up too much room or it may have crashed your machine

    that is the only chance you have unless dell makes a bios with a slic in it,.

    PH161700 /x /FORCE /O /C /S BIOS.WPH <ENTER> [/B] Those are the only commands that I know of with HP and they worked for all HP bios in the past.
