Oopps, I miss your message before. But in future they will add slic to new version of bios? Sorry for my stupid questions. I don't know what that's slics means and for what they add them. Toshiba M750 is get into W7 upgrade program. So I have chance to get new original bios with slic 2.1? Thank you.
I have no idea if they will add it or not....you might flash your bios with the new bios update and check to see if it will activate windows 7 but I cannot guarantee that - Send another RW Everything Report and we can tell you if it added slic 2.1 or not
How do I do that? I've tried extracting it using misc archivers, searched for files during flashing etc...
Location of Extracted Files In windows 7, open control panel - appearance and personalization - folder Options click on VIEW tab and tick SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS and DRIVES Extracted files usually go here in Windows 7: c:\users\dm\appdata\local\temp (dm is the name of your computer)
I know that . What I'm trying to say is that it seems the image is bundled with the EXE as a wrapper. Same as Dell, but I'm unable to find a command-line parameter that extracts the BIOS. Only command-line param I can get working is /force.
Sometimes the European sites of your motherboard may have an extracted bios file or if necessary call Packard bell and have them do it for you.
No such luck. I just can't see how this isn't working, RWE does indicate a 2.1 SLIC in the BIOS... I'm using a Win7HP upgrade-media, could that cause a problem?
Things have changed....Yen will no longer do that unless absoutely necessary,.....it can be modified here but we need an rw everything report or it won't be moded.
I have no idea of what a win7hp upgrade media is.... The only versions which can be activated are those with OEM SLP Product Keys and if you don't have one of those (Ultimate Edition - Professional Edition - Home Premium Edition) then it won't activate.
