    Oh NO!!!

    Does this mean my old Dell B110 can not be modded either. It's XP which I think means it's not SLIC 2.0 :eek:

    My compaq F730US wouldnt activate but I used my free copy MS gave me. Wanted to save the license but didnt care. BIOS showed HP 2.1 but the HP cert and acer ultimate key failed to activate it. The HP and Dell laptop both were activated with your mods.

    ** Update, I read a previous post before you responded to my request about someone elses Dell being non-SLIC2.0. Thanks anyways! **

    It means it is impossible to modify it..sorry. this is pre-vista bios and pre-vista phoenix bios cannot be modified in any way....there is no way of opening them.

    this is what I instructed for you to do: flash bios in DOS using PHLASH16 on bootable usb flash drive - place MODIFIED BIOS FILE BB2-113.Wph on same bootable usb flash drive and at command prompt in DOS type: phlash16 /x /s /c /mode=3 BB2-113.WPH <ENTER>

    btw, is the rweverything u provided, taken after your format?
    let's ask Master Busykid508, is the provided rweverything report usable for the mod then?
