    not sure if this is the right place to post this but thanks to your site and the wonderful people on this site i ave now upgraded my bios to slic 2.1and all was sucessful on a acer 5920 and now my vista wont reactivate do i am running vista home premium with no service packs do i need to be running at least sp1 to be able to reactivate ?

    thanks for the help ( sorry if its on the wrong place ) :)

    well you may get more response in Windows 7 section. Well if your bios is SLIC 2.1 ready, your vista should stay activated. have u use David SLIC Dump Tooklit to check SLIC version?
