    do u mean the version 2.X? i ve downloaded both. the 2.X file is for Insyde bios.

    this one for phoenix.

    u can check at the acer website, both release date are same.

    just the bios filename look a bit weird to me, is it a backup bios? or original one from Samsung website?

    It´s a backup file.
    The original from the website is integrated in an exe-file, witch automaticaly flash.
    There i have no choice to select a biosfile.

    Is there hope for me, to flash the modified backup file?

    You can not flash backup the backup bios, as it does not contain platform data.
    please upload the original bios file. we will try to extract it.
