It's a Windows based flash application, but if you're running X64 version you might want to do it in DOS, though give Windows a shot since it's made for Windows from HP.

It won't flash in windows because you did not reset the phlash.ini files which need to be modified in order for it to flash the bios in windows.

You need to open all phlash.ini files in Notepad and modify the imagefile and add Advanced=1 if none exists under sign.

In your bios, the imagefile=flash.bl rather than the name of your bios file. In another is imagefile=bios.wph.

You need to change the imagefile=flash.bl to bios.wph and add advanced=1 underneath the sign

    Thanks 911 medic,

but when I try to load bios using winphlash it says

"corrupted interface descriptors in new bios file"

part table signature not found in the interface

    error code -161

update: I tried to load a non modified bios using winphlash and I got the same error. Do I have to use the laucher from toshiba? That one does not let me edit the new bios path, and it always loads the original bios from the temp directory.
