    you should flash sony bios in Windows mode.

    1. add the following lines to PHLASH.INI
    Code:
    [UI]
    Advanced=1

    if they are already there, must make sure Advanced = 1

    2. right click on WinPhlash.exe, run as Administrator
    3. press the advanced button. At flags check ONLY: verify block after programming, ALL others must be UNTICKED
    4. at DMI choose: Update the bios and not DMI.
    5. press OK and flash the mod.

    I tried to mod but that couldnt be activated....

    ok... I installed Windows 7 Ultimate w/o key. Then, I loaded SLIC HP 2.1. After loaded, I installed HPOEMSLIC-MP.xrm-ms and with lenovo old key. it didnt work. so, i uninstalled everything and used windows 7 loader. still it didnt activate at all.

    since i could activate lenovo and dell before, so, is there any possible to load lenovo or dell slic to compaq mobo?

    thank you!!:)

    I'm glad. Always use the files from one source.
