Phoenix bios SLIC mod requests (*.WPH or *.ROM files).

    1. tried to flash a friend's Dell Mini 1210 with the mod provided but get this message "BIOS ROM file may be corrupt (checksum not zero) Continue Anyway? Y/N"

    2. when I typed "Y" the error msg repeats itself... can you help me? Yen / Busykid508:(

    3. the command I typed in DOS was "phlash16.exe mod.rom /s /c /x"

    open up the biosheader.ini (located in the same folder as flashaid and your bios_data.rom) file in notepad.
    change Checksum=0 to Checksum=0xE0FC
    save the file and then try running FlashAid. It should stop that message.

    There are no loaders on this system, it is currently running XP OEM.
    The bios has SLP1 code for this, it also has a blank SLIC table.

    I had changed the biosheader.ini file as your advice. Then i tried to flash bios in windows using flashaid.exe (right click on flashaid and run as administrator) the following message occurred.

    This computer already has newer BIOS than the one specified in the BIOS data file.
    It is not necessary to update.

    Please help me to solve this problem!
