    With Due Respect.
    The Original Flash tool didn't generate phalsh.ini....
    When I try to use Winphlash 1.7.16 it gives error (even on unmodified bios).

    with due respect, even so, just create phalsh.ini and place those lines inside with modification of ROM filename. look, i am not telling you what to do, but busykid used to advise me to do so. but it's all up to you.

    RW report attached with this is after flashing the moded bios provided by busykid.. nither splash screen logo which is compaq nor in bios setup screen compaq v3000 were changed. i request you if you can mod it to say hp pavilion dv2401tu at setup screen.

    the purpose of this forum is to get bios ready for wndows 7 activation, nothing more.
    regarding your problem above, busykid is probably looking into it as we speak.
    i have tried a few combination mod myself, i dont convince my mod will work. let's hope busykid can make it though.

    BusyKid special mod request

    hi busykid,
    hope you had nice Christmas...
    once you are online just have a look on this after flashing bios provided by you. i was not able to validate windows visata/7. i tried contacting others also but finally i was referred you for getting expert help. for your reference i have posted rw report and slic tools image.. hope you can help me with that...
