    HP Pavilion dv6700t CTO

    Hi imatrix I still get error when I try flash by USB, It read in to 40% then frozen,after that about 4 or 5 minuter I get error message ,,,,then press any key to exit,I hear 2 or 3 sound beep beep ... Reboot
    In bootable usb I EXTRACT 3 files to flash drive: BIOS.WPH, F.BAT, PH161700.EXE
    Please help me some more

    i was gonna say the same thing kukubau, however if you look at the bios rls date, it was back in Aug 20008. there is a slim chance that it contains SLIC 2.1 already then.

    @Jake360, can you please provide rweverything report?

    Hi again, just wondering if you have had any other ideas yet? i have tried a few version of winphlash and only the latest version supplied with the current bios on the Toshiba UK site works but still only shows slic 2.0

    It clearly show as having M09 module inside so I don't see the reason to mod it. I'd say let him flash it and IF it doesn't activate we'll take it from there.
